Toledo, Ohio – Dave Rigotti, a student in his senior year at The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio double majoring in entrepreneurship and marketing, has launched a new website to help others get the job of their dreams or move higher in their current career. While going to class and being active in extra-curricular activities, Dave founded Freezing Hot, a Toledo based Internet marketing company, which also produces websites.
The news website is called Career Fire (http://www.careerfire.com) and it provides articles on career development, such as resume writing, interviewing, and professional attire. In addition to reading the articles on the site, visitors can also subscribe to have the articles sent directly to their email mailboxes, which over 100 people have already chosen to do.
“Times are tough and that’s why I created Career Fire,” Rigotti said. “I saw that some people were either having difficulty getting jobs or were being laid off from their current jobs, so I created this site to help people pick themselves back up and make them more attractive candidate for employment.”
In addition to providing information and resources, Career Fire also provides resumes writing and critiquing services, which have helped clients get hired at companies like Microsoft, Ernst & Young, Marathon, among others. Dave says some resumes can be turned around in 24 hours or less and services start at just $49.
Because of his commitment to Alpha Kappa Psi, Dave has issued the coupon: "akpsi" which gives 20% off all resume writing services.
Dave pledged Alpha Kappa Psi in spring 2007 and has served multiple roles in his chapter (Gamma Eta), including Vice President of Marketing. He is also on the All Academic Team and is a member of the Yellow Rose Society.
